Sales are subject to a 30% commission rate.

What’s Included?

Everything you need to make a great sales day. Your rental includes personal assistance from Sara, who will be onsite processing your sales for you. You are in the best of hands with our onsite help. Sara assists by driving the gallery to your destination, staging your shop, handling sales for you, and teardown after the event.

  • If you should go over the agreed 8-hour period, the rental is extended to a 12-hour period.

    This keeps it simple, with only two price categories.

    Remember, Sara is here to help watch the clock and pack up the gallery within your rental period. She will help keep you on track.

  • Absolutely! Renting with Shoebox Art means your mobile art gallery comes with all the help you need. We are with you the whole rental, from set up to tear down. Sara supports you in operating the mobile gallery so you can focus on making sales and connections with your audience.

  • The prices above do not include tax. They are subject to 7% Provincial Sales Tax (PST) and 5% federal Goods and Services Tax (GST).

    Reduced Rate After Tax (plus commission):

    $290 for 8 hours = $324.80

    $400 for 12 hours = $448.00

    Flat Rate After Tax:

    $440 for 8 hours = $492.80

    $580 for 12 hours = $649.60

  • We bring everything you need to set up and sell. This includes a POS system for credit card processing, display shelves and hooks, lighting, internet access, receipt printing, and gallery level customer service.

    Remember to bring your own shopping bags for customers and your business cards, as well as an itemized pricing list for your art/products.

  • The gallery can park on private property, or at a licensed event. Private property can include your driveway, or in a parking lot owned by a business with their permission. The gallery cannot park on a public street.

  • Shoebox Art is solar powered! For indoor or multi-day events, the gallery can be hooked up to standard electrical power.

  • This will depend on factors such as complexity of displays and overall preparedness. We suggest allowing for a minimum of 2 hours for set up and 1 hour for teardown, to ensure your artworks are displayed just right for your event and carefully wrapped at the end. Please consider this when booking your event.

    Example 1: if you would like to advertise your event as running from 4pm to 9pm, book an 8-hour day from 2pm to 10pm.

    Example 2: if you would like to advertise your event as running from 10am to 6pm, book a 12-hour day from 7am to 7pm.

  • The interior is approximately 100 square feet. The exterior is 8.5’ wide, 9.5’ tall and 20’ long from tip to tail.
